Fedora Core 5 freezes on Dell Dimension E510

        For what it's worth, I'm running a dual-core Acer notebook
        without these freezes (those are reserved for the AMD machine at
        home...).  I'm running the x86 SMP kernel (and it's nice and
        zippy) because it honestly hadn't occurred to me to run the
        x86_64.
