I agree.  If you don't need the collaborative aspect, Tiddlywiki
<www.tiddlywiki.com/> is easy to get going.  I used PHPwiki, which was
offered by my webhost <hostrocket.com> once, but had to drop it
because there didn't seem to be any way to avoid giant amounts of
comment spam.
