complicated x over ssh question

Goal: I would like to fire up X applications on my home server, and have
them come up on my work computer.

The work computer, of course, has a non-routable ethernet address.

I have X forwarding on.
[david at uni ~]$ grep -i forward /etc/ssh/ssh_config
# ForwardAgent no
ForwardAgent yes
# ForwardX11 no
ForwardX11 yes
#ForwardX11Trusted yes

How do I set the DISPLAY in my ssh session if the IP address of my work
computer is not routable?
