Attbi Woes

Ah the joys of broadband.  I just had it hooked up.
Supposedly its has been activated.  I was curious if anyone else
had seen these symptoms.

dnslookup works, nothing else does.

tcpdump shows arp requests coming from upstream, but nothing else. It
would seem that they lied to me and have not activated the service, but
there is also the possibility that it is a change in policy that requires
some winblows specific handshake to get the service running.
