How long to setup a new system?

I typically do a network install with kickstart, for either Fedora
or CentOS. I mount the iso image under a web root and use a
kickstart file modified slightly from a prior system's
/root/anaconda-ks.cfg file.

The only part of the install I keep interactive is the disk
partitioning, which takes maybe 2 minutes. The rest of the install
typically takes about half an hour on an uncongested network.

Of course, doing the same kickstart from CD or DVD media
instead of over http takes far longer; the time in this case
is dependent primarily on the speed of the CD/DVD drive.
