vsftp error

Hello all,

I have setup Redhat AS 4.0 with vsftp setup. I got the
permisson error and also time out when I used ftp
client. 
I was able to use ftp from CDL without any problem.
This is my first time got this type error. Google
didn't give me much information. I hope someone can
help.
