comcast [somerville,ma] network flakiness?

Two weekends ago my comcast internet connection was down for a while in 
the morning then came back.  Same as this past weekend.   It was down 
again this morning.

I don't recall the last time their network connectivity was so flaky as 
these two past weekends, including this morning.   All LEDs on my rented 
modem were lit, but a traceroute really didn't go anywhere.

Anyone else experiencing problems?   Anyone know of service/infrastructure 
changes they may be doing?
