Channel 7 and VLC

Can anyone decode the Channel 7 (WHDH-DT) signal with VLC?
Mplayer has no more problems with it than with any other channel.
That is, the sound and picture aren't in sync, but they're both
there. So I don't think it's a signal strength problem.
But VLC gives me the following errors:
VLC media player 0.8.6 Janus
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received 11, expected 0) for PID 0
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received 1, expected 0) for PID 80
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received 2, expected 0) for PID 48
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received 2, expected 0) for PID 64
[00000328] a52 decoder: A/52 channels:2 samplerate:48000 bitrate:192000
No accelerated IMDCT transform found
And then it sits there and doesn't produce either picture or sound. I
get the same errors on the laptop if I use VLC (Ubuntu Feisty build)
on the desktop to stream the signal to VLC on the laptop (my own
build). So I doubt that it is either a build problem or a video card
driver problem.
I have googled both "TS discontinuity" and "accelerated IMDCT
transform" without receiving any enlightenment. Both errors are
common in questions on the video forums, but usable advice about how
to make them go away is not.
