My friend in Colorado had the same problem. We both ended up using a
windows machine to complete the process. :/

Also, I've since then setup a SixXS tunnel, if you read my
conversation with Steve Pomeroy.)

Comcast support is horrendous. They blame everything on the fact that
I'm using a router, and wont even listen to me until I claim I'm no
longer using it (because it's probably a problem caused by my 3rd
party device). They say routers aren't supported.. do they want me to
pay for a new connection for every machine?!

I only shudder to think what minimal support Australian ISPs might
have for Linux, especially after reading

there this summer, that's why).

Despite all the horror stories about Comcast I can give, I hear that
Verizon is much, much worse.
