[Discuss] how to build a smart watch for kids

Hi, all,

I know it is a big topic, but I want to know more about this.
I want to build a GPS smart watch for kids, like these two watches in
amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Children-Learning-Wearable-Bracelet-Compatible/dp/B0776R7TYC/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1514750246&sr=1-3&keywords=gps+watch+for+kids#HLCXComparisonWidget_feature_div

https://www.amazon.com/Children-9Tong-Anti-lost-Smartwatch-Smartphone/dp/B077HLCZJC/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1514750246&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=gps+watch+for+kids&psc=1

I want to know which operating system it uses in the smart phone. Is it
android?
It looks like it comes with cell phone apps, so I guess I also need to
build a server for it.
I don't have time to go to Shenzhen right now. So, I just want to ask
anyone who has any idea about how to build it.

Thanks a lot and happy new year to all!

Best,

Tom
