[Discuss] Mythbuntu on VMWare slow

The interface is slow via the vsphere client. When I get into the console, myubuntu almost does not respond to keyboard or mouse, it normally takes few seconds before I can even see the screen. Right now as of an example, I'm running the latest updates via the software updater but do only thing that I see is a white dialog that seems to be not doing anything. ?When I try to close it I get the Warning message "The window might be busy and not responding. do you want to terminate the application? Software updater. ?I hope this info is more helpful. ?P.S. unfamiliar with virtio but I will google it right now. ??

Are you using the virtio drivers for disk and network?

Can you characterize what "very slow to respond" means to
you?
