[Discuss] share keyboard/video/mouse with 2 desktops



I've been using synergy for years. It's basically like VNC without the
display sharing; each machine keeps its own display, and the keyboard and
mouse is shared. It acts like a dual-screen system: when the mouse hits the
right-hand side of the screen to the left, it appears on the screen to the
right, and vice versa.
