There is no single xorg.conf file. Both the xserver and client have
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d. The Xserver has 00-keyboard.conf. The client has
an empty directory.
The X server is Fedora 20. The application works fine locally on the X
server, and also on RHEL 5 systems, just not on RHEL 6. The RHEL 5
systems have /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.

But that does not explain why other X applications run and eclipse does
not.
