Yes, that's what I suspect.  I was actually paying them $51/month at the time,
as a long-time subscriber.  You might think they'd start with a letter
addressed to the homeowner asking about the status of tenants who appear to be
pirating video feeds, but instead they brought out the dikes.

Now I have rabbit ears for TV, subscribing to Astound.Net for Internet (the
California operations of RCN which they divested to an independent operator
some years ago).  Most of my neighbors use Comcast, ugh.  Yet I still swear by
Comcast for people in north Cambridge, simply because it's the first
cable-modem system ever built (at the Sherman Street head-end) and has been
maintained quite reliably ever since (now in its 20th year).
