[Discuss] 1 offline uncorrectable sectors detected

I occasionally get the following message from smartd:

Offline uncorrectable sectors detected:
  	/dev/sdc [SAT] - 48 Time(s)
  	1 offline uncorrectable sectors detected

smartctl -H reports
** sdc : SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED

This is my backup drive so it is not critical to my operation. As far as I can determine from a Google search this is just an annoyance. The drive is WDC WD20EADS 2TB in a single-drive configuration.

Basically, this is an annoyance because it is only a single sector and the drive is otherwise healthy. I think updating smartd.conf by adding '-U 198+ ' should suppress the warning.
