GNU mailman allows you to subscribe addresses as "post-only"
addresses... So I'm subscribed twice: once from the address where I
will actually receive the mail--which is marked as private--and a
second "posting-only" address which does not exist. For
majordomo-style lists, you can simulate this by just subscribing twice
normally, and sending all e-mail from the "invalid" address to
/dev/null. This largely defeats the main benefit of doing this,
though, which is prevention of mass quantities of spam ever reaching
you in the first place. If you're paying for bandwidth--and I do--it
is a better option IMO than using spam filtering, though it requires
dilligence, and will likely get you called eccentric, and other worse
things.

This message is posted from an invalid address. Replying to it will result in
undeliverable mail due to spam prevention. Sorry for the inconvenience.
