due to my paranoid nature, i have been dropping away from google as much 
as possible. i thought reader was great too- too bad for me i guess. for 
now, i've been using thunderbird, which kinda ties me to a single 
computer for saved articles. and subscriptions are decentralized too.

certainly not optimal, but it's been easier for me to let go of worrying 
about it than i thought.
