[Discuss] How do Linux guys back up Windows?

Yes, I have. I've used Clonezilla to restore the "original" images made
before starting Windows the first time, even used the restored image to
create the one-off rescue media a second time. I've also used
Clonezilla to restore to altered partition layouts.

The one gotcha is if you use Intel's SRT cache. You need to disable the
cache before booting the Clonezilla media or your disks may be left in
an inconsistent state (read: lost data).
