[Discuss] HDTV's as a computer monitor

I did for a while.  The problem with using a TV set is that you get a 
30-40" screen with the same resolution as you get on a 17" notebook.  In 
other words, a HDTV set is great for watching TV and stuff from 6-12 
feet away but it really sucks for typical computer use at 2-3 feet.
