[Discuss] When you omit rsync '--update' option



My default has been:

rsync -av user_1 at machine_1:foo/  user_2 at machine_2:foo/

from the man page:
-a, --archive               archive mode; equals -rlptgoD (no -H,-A,-X)

Lots, but no u.  So I should be doing -avu, or rsync with a view?
That might be remembered.
