[Discuss] RAID-Z question

Yes, this is a hypothetical ZFS RAID-Z pool. As already noted, I'm getting that HP box with 1x2TB disk. I have 3x1TB disks that I can use in the short term for a RAID set. I want to glom together all four into a RAID-Z and then replace the 1TB drives once disk prices drop. It sounds like I'll be starting with ~3TB RAID-Z storage which will grow to ~6TB RAID-Z once I finish replacing the 1TB disks with 2TB disks.

Unless... I do something wacky. Turns out the N40L has an internal USB port that can be used for booting from USB flash, which means I get 5 internal 3.5" bays to play with. :)
