[Discuss] website designer

Eric Chadbourne commented:
| Anybody here a really good website designer or know of one? A friend of
| mine has a small electrical consulting business and wants his site
| redone. Pretty easy job. Less than 6 pages of static HTML. But it has
| to look great.

In cases like this, it probably helps to give a bit of information
about what the client may mean by "look great". For example, some of
us here think that the main page at google.com is one of the
best-looking pages on the Web. But many people would reject this
strongly, and mean something a lot more "artsy". There's no
reconciling this sort of difference in taste. Those who like google's
design aren't likely to satisfy those who like a more ornate approach
to design, and vice versa.
