Description: DATABASE DEVELOPER, Resource Development-Corporate
Relations, to design, implement, document, and maintain systems in 4D,
Active 4D, JavaServer Pages, MySQL, FileMaker Pro, AppleScript,
HTML/CSS, JavaScript, VBA, and other standard database, web, and
middleware applications. Will assist with data processing needs,
including database design and development; participate on web
development team, with an emphasis on development of screens and
reports; assist with data migration from legacy systems; assist in
installing, testing, and maintaining network, database, system, and
application software; assist with routine system operations, e.g.,
backups, preventative maintenance, file restorations, etc.; collaborate
with technical professionals from other MIT departments to design,
build, and maintain connections to other campus systems; collaborate on
resolving user-related questions/problems and provide training;
generate documentation; perform minor hardware repairs; and
occasionally move and lift computer equipment.
