First, make sure with GoDaddy you have unlocked your domain.  If it's locked
the transfer will fail every time.  Second, are you getting the EPP key from
their website when you log into the domain manager?  Or from somewhere else?
 I've yet to have any issues getting domains transferred away from GoDaddy
(or any other registrar for that matter).
