Does it specifically need to be internal disks?  Or could you work with a
pair of external/USB (or potentially 1-ESATA, 1-USB) disks?  If external
disks are okay, you might want to look at the SheevaPlug and GuruPlug. 
They are arm systems that come preinstalled with Linux, and 1 (or 2) GigE
ports, and run on 4-10W of power, depending on load.

I have a few and I'm playing around with them.  Haven't yet deployed any,
but I'm waiting for my shipment of flash cards to run as root disks.
