System Aministrator

OfficeDrop, a pioneer in cloud computing, is looking for a Systems Administrator to manage its Cloud Infrastructure. Join our award winning team - help manage and grow an award winning digital filing system!

What you should have:

Strong fundamentals in Unix/Linux, Networking, security and programming (Perl or Ruby).
Top notch hacking skills (including Ruby, bash). Sed, Awk, grep are your favorite toppings in an alphabet soup.
3+ years of experience in systems administration and tools/servers such as Puppet, Nagios, Apache.
Obsession about security, high-availability, and reliability. Think and dream 5 9s.
Excellent Oral and written communication skills and comfortable with working on remote servers and with remote teams.
Knowledge of Amazon cloud services, Ruby on Rails, Java a big plus.
Initiative to improve existing infrastructure.
Eligibility to work legally in US.
What you would do:

Maintain OfficeDrop's production, QA and infrastructure servers
Program well to automate maintenance tasks with tools that work best for you and OfficeDrop (bash, ruby, capistrano)
Assist customer service and development in trouble shooting
Be available on-call after business hours in case of urgent issues
Learn and apply cool scalable technologies in cloud computing
Basic maintenance of databases
