How to Virtualize Sparc Solaris 8

Oh ... apparently the emulation is immature, or poor, or incomplete ... It
seems running solaris up to 6 is ok, but solaris 8 on the sparc in qemu
(which is the requirement here) is almost undoable.  It'll only run in
"minimal" mode... Which is severely impaired...  Not really an OS at that
point...
