New Internationalized domain names are coming

Wow! If we're no longer allowed to use Latin letters in domain names,
maybe  I  should  get  serious  about  learning to type in Chinese or
Japanese ...

(Sorry, but that IS the most obvious reading of what you wrote. There
might have been a slightly better way to phrase it. Interpreting "not
having the Latin alphabet" as meaning  that  it  will  no  longer  be
allowed is a quite natural reading of the phrasing.  ;-)
