when is a PDF not a PDF?

Actually, I didn't miss your point as I fully agreed with it. I was just
refering back to Rob's post where he was running version 3.0.1.
Certainly, I'm also thinking that Rob's issue is with fonts and may be
solved using the PDF/A-1a option.  The point I was making is possibly
the PDF generation in Rob's version of OO.o might be  buggy.
