Choosing a Linux Distro WebTesting/FileSharing

I am looking to use my shuttle to hold all my files as well as testing for my
websites that I work on. I was wondering what everyone's opinion is for
these two jobs. My first inclination would be to just use ubuntu because
that is what I have experience with.

Do any of you have any other suggestions on a Linux Distro that would better
suit my needs? Again this is going to be purely a place to host files, and
send websites to for testing before uploading to the web. I may eventually
want to set this up so I can access it from outside my home but that is a
very low priority at the moment.

What would you use?
