I started working with Microsoft Xenix back in about 1980, but mainly=20
worked with BSD/Vax and System V, Ultrix, and Tru64. We tried to get SCO =

running on a BCS IBM PS/2 back in the very early 90s, but JABR put in a=20
much more reliably DOS system. It seems that SCO (both Xenix and System=20
V) tended to get away from the existing Unix standard practices. Nearly=20
everyone I knew in the Unix community disliked SCO Unixes. remember that =

most of us learned Unix from the Lyon's book.
