Cheapest way to backup data

Backing up to Amazon Elastic Cloud EC2 using Rsync seems to work very
well and the data integrity is much better than backing up to Amazon
S3 using s3sync or s3fs.  You can also make a snapshot of the EC2 data
and save it on Amazon S3.
