Low cost 2-port USB KVM

Currently I have a Belkin Flip 2-port USB KVM. Recently I switched to a=20
wide-screen monitor and when I set the resolution to the recommended=20
resolution 1680x1050 I get a color tint. When I plug the monitor=20
directly into the laptop (IBM T43) everything is fine. The KVM has 2=20
additional issues:
1. The USB cable is too short for the computer so I'm using an extension =

VGA cable which appears to be the problem. One possible solution is to=20
get a new VGA extension or a USB extension.
2. The KVM occasionally freezes so I can't switch between computers=20
without unplugging the USB from both my Linux and Windows machines.

What I would like to see is a recommendation for a low cost USB KVM with =

the USB and VGA end of the cable are long enough for the ThinkPad that=20
has the USB port on the opposite end of the box.

This is currently what we have in the office:

The IOGear MiniView seems to have longercables. I think those are the=20
only 2 on the Staples web site that would fit the bill. My coworker has=20
this one, but she is on vacation.
