 Thanks everyone.  I will try these suggestions out.   I do realize   
that I was overly harsh on it and that it does serve a purpose for   
mobile users.  I was a bit frustrated by the lack of documentation and   
the little I found indicated no support for static IPs prior to 0.7.   
That said, I still want to purge my server of it if I can.
