 Looking for a Contract Drupal Developer 

We are looking for a contract Drupal developer to work on a project 
developing a digital community for Life Sciences Research in Diabetes. 
The position is currently funded as a contract position, but for the 
right candidate could develop into a long term arrangement.  We 
currently use Drupal fairly extensively in our group and have plans to 
expand over time.  This there are a number of additional ongoing Drupal 
projects that may need additional resources in coming months. 

We are looking for a developer who has sound knowledge of Drupal v5, 
both in the development of site layout and templates as well as site 
administration.  Candidates should also be at least familiar with 
PHP/MySQL and Apache.  Experience with Linux and Drupal module 
development is a plus. 

We do not have a need at this time for video, embedded flash or other 
rich media.  The nature of our development process is somewhat organic. 
We are collaborating with a other institutions on module development 
projects that we will integrate into our site.  So, candidates with a 
sense of adventure are welcome.
