Best deals are really through Dell now. You can get a $600 laptop or
desktop with some pretty good components. I think I have built my last
system ever, which was a 64-bit AMD64 X2 MythTV/server. The hassle of
dealing with parts and ordering and shipping was fun when I was in
junior high, but now I am old and have stuff to do other than build
machines :-) Also, I like our Apple Intel Mini, which is running Ubuntu
Feisty of course...and it great, cheap, and quiet!
