Also, I think I saw that very recently a patch for IPv6/IPv4 issues
was checked into glibc.  I have noticed slowness for some ssh
initiations on ubuntu feisty, for instance.  I have yet to root-cause
the issue, but I haven't really looked into it.  Mainly, this happens
to me at work, where all sort of interesting equipment is messing with
my packets...
