Quite a few people do choose to work for BBN ;-).
But if you meant people on this list, there's at least one (me).

DARPA is one of our bigger (if not biggest) customers.

I'd rather not air the details of my ethics on a public forum, but it's
obvious that in general I don't have a problem doing work for DARPA and the US
gov't.
