Bicycle/peddle-powered computer?

Scott,

There was a thread about this subject in rec.radio.amateur.moderated 
about a month ago. AFAIK, your best bet is to construct set yourself, 
using a car alternator. It will be a lot more power than a laptop needs, 
but easy to setup so that the laptop dies when the pedaler does.
