You can run pretty much anything on EC2 that you can get to run in a Xen 
guest.

But it strikes me as completely the wrong solution for a low volume, low 
requirements site. Unless you can't find providers that will sell you 
shared Zope/Plone hosting or offer it for a reasonable price, why would 
you want to take on the effort of configuring your own Xen image and 
maintaining it? Probably for about the same cost you can let someone 
else do the work.
