Linux RAID0 -- your experiences

I'm thinking of using two SATA drives as a RAID0 for development and
testing, just for speed. I don't need the redundancy, per se, but I do
want it to be stable.

Short of a disk failure, has anyone seen any issues with MD devices on
linux, RAID0 specifically, and maybe 3 or 5 as well?
