problems with BLU mail?

(Sorry for the use of Outlook :-)
I agree. I'm possibly wondering if there might be some issue with the mail
scanner and anti-virus software. A while back I did find an issue with the
hourly crontab entry for the AV. Our problems with the list started back in
October when I went to New Orleans. When I got back, I found that the
mailman output queue was not being emptied, and I restarted the qrunners,
and since added an hourly crontab to restart the qrunners. It appears that
something is causing postfix to be very slow when accepting email either
locally (from localhost and asgard) or remotely. I'm not seeing anything
highly unusual in the logs. While JABR and I don't have any formal division
of responsibility, I've been handling most of mailman and he has been
handling the web, and we share responsibilities for named and postfix.

One of the major issues we do need to address better is SPAM. If we can
reduce the traffic on our bandwidth, it will make us a better NEDV client.
As I mentioned earlier, we are not expected to use more than a reasonable
share, whatever that is.

I'm wondering if you have a configuration or tuning problem with your
Postfix setup, as bad addresses shouldn't clog up the queue for the rest
of the messages.
