Linux on a PDA - acceptable request for assistance?

If nothing else, it will take a lot more planning, preparation, and
research, none of which can happen without the exact model number of
your iPAQ.  Why don't you post that to the list so we can look into it?
 There is a very wide range of capabilities between differen iPAQ models.
