Free wifi at the airport?

Given the demographic of users of such a service, and that you could
subject them to a splash page of sponsor logos before the connection
becomes active, it is probably something that could easily gain
corporate sponsors.

But is it even possible for an outsider to implement a WiFi network
inside a structure without the cooperation and buy-in from the building
owner (Massport)? At best you could get a tenant here and there to
cooperate, but you also said:

implying that the airlines would not be a cooperating party. So who's
left? Restaurants and gift shops?
