solaris 10 gdm config question

Guys,

Does anyone know how to configure the screen size, or better said, the
resolution of
the gnome greeter in Solaris? In my VMWare/Solaris 10 setup, for some
reason the gdm
greeter has decided that my screen resolution is on the order of
2000-something x
1000-something... and its really annoying...

Cheers. Steve.
