Changing font size in firefox

Guys,

I learned a trick to change the font size in firefox. control-mouse 
wheel. If hold the control button down, then use the wheel on your mouse 
to change the font size. My problem is that some times it works, then 
other times it does not. Is there something I'm missing about activating 
this great feature?
