Dual Boot While Hybernating?

uname -a says "Linux bottom 2.6.15-23-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT", as built by
Ubuntu.  Note I am not trying to get the other kernel to hybernate,
just this one.  And it does it I don't let the other boot.
