Samba authentication - domain vs server?

I had a similar problem a while back when I was trying to set up my system 
to print to a Windows printer. I don't recall the actual solution, but it 
may be simply a permission problem on your Linux server. It drove me crazy 
because it appeared to be caused by some issue with Windows.
