Thanks.  I don't think that is the problem because Reebok's site uses 
Edgesuite and the double alias and it works fine:

# host www.reebok.com
www.reebok.com. is an alias for reebok.com.edgesuite.net.
reebok.com.edgesuite.net. is an alias for a1751.g.akamai.net.
a1751.g.akamai.net. has address 81.52.202.23
a1751.g.akamai.net. has address 81.52.202.25

This is certainly a strange problem.  I took a look at the log files as 
Alex suggested too but didn't see anything.
