Elo Touchscreens on Linux?

Does anyone have experience with Elo touchscreens on Linux?

I have an Elo 1515L connected via USB to a machine running OpenSuSE
10.0, and the driver seems to load correctly. I can "cat /dev/input/
event3" and see data when I touch the screen. X is configured to
start the elographics driver, but when it starts up, it says:

"Not at specified rate or model 2310" and gives a few more error
messages, then doesn't initialize.

Does anyone have any ideas?
